OMG....I am alive....damn

You know what i think is just the swankiest tv show ever.....SMALLVILLE!!!!!!! I absolutly love it. I just watched every episode in the past few weeks and I am so hooked it's scary.

I mean everyone has to be able to identify with Clark at some point in their life...I know I have felt like a freak more than once.

And Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor....all I can say is holy hott heavenly heartbreaker!!!! Not to mention the fact that he makes Lex come alive and lets the audience see he isn't an evil guy...but a guy who just wants to make an impact on the world. He truely wants to do great things but sometimes forgets the end doesn't always justify the means. Michael's portrayal of Lex, makes Lex a character you care about and hurt for, even when he is being a naughty boy. *wonder if he would let me punish him*

Clark on the other hand, while a really good person is so anal with his views of right and wrong he refuses to believe that not everything is black and white, good or bad....no grey areas for him. Of course he totally forgets to be so extreme when it comes to himself and gaurding his secret. Not that I blame him but you would think he would be more understanding about things. But Clark really is a caring person who only wants to help people and can be so sweet and sexy you just want to hug him. *horizontally*

What gets me the most is that Lex is so angry Clark won't tell him his secret and is always lying to him yet he lies to Clark all the time to. Same goes for Clark, he demands Lex tell him the truth no matter what he asks him but he doesn't feel he has to be honest in return. Is that what you call a catch 22? They both want complete honesty from each other but don't feel they have to show that same honest back.

Watching Lex and Clark's friendship deteriorate has been so sad for me....they started out truly caring for each other and although I think they still do...they just can't get past their different views on right and wrong. I think if earlier on in the friendship Clark had confided his secret in Lex, Lex would have done anything to protect him, I mean yea he would have been scientifically interested but I think he would have kept the secrets to himself. With his intelligence and resources he really could have helped Clark deal with the things that torment him. Also, in showing such trust in Lex, I think Clark would have helped Lex reaffirm his declaration of being a better person making it possible for him to achieve his goal with Clark as a friend and advisor.

But that is just my own personal theory...isn't it sad I even have a theory about something that can't possible be because of the predetermined plot...lol....I told you...I'm a true geek at heart.

I FREAK'N LOVE THIS SHOW!!!! It is full of swank my friends...swank and Sexy Lexy, the sexiest guy on tv, maybe anywhere.... :)

Ok...so I have been asleep for a few weeks...sue me!

I know...I know! I start this up and then just fall over for weeks...if you knew me you wouldn't be surprised. I am a procrastinator to the highest degree. I desearve some kind of award i'm sure. Worlds Biggest Slug would be appropriate.

Of course the holidays were very trying so I didn't really feel very swanky and I had trouble seeing the swankyness in most things, so that was part of the problem.

Now I am a self-proclaimed nerd and I have no desire to lie about it. I love all things techy, even those I don't really understand, which is most of it. Right now I am working with a friend amassing a huge collection of divx/xvid movies and television series. For those that don't know what a divx is it is just another media format such as dvd or mpeg. The reason I like it is because the visual quality of it is so good but the size of it is so small, compared to say a dvd. Sadly there really isn't anyway to watch a divx on your television unless you have it playing thru a computer. There are divx players but that is a whole other ball of wax. Currently me and my friend have like 15 television series completed or at least up to current, prolly have 10 more seasons of various shows and around 120 divx movies. The thing holding us back right now is needing more hard drive. I just don't have enough. I have like 180 gig between my computers but I need more.

My dream would be to have a basic computer with like 4 250gig hard drives filled with movies and shows hooked to my tv. I think I could die happy then, lol.

I know I am rambling just a bit when all I really wanted to say was that until about 2 years ago I never even knew what a divx was and I didn't really even appreciate it until the past 6 months or so. Now I don't know how i got by without it.

Divx/Xvid is truely SWANKY!

Just imagine a movie that looks as good, if not better than a dvd. Yet it is half the size. I mean on one blank dvd I can get up to four full length divx movies. Just think of the saved space that is. I have over a hundred dvd movies, one movie per disc...imagine the discs I could have saved if I had burned them as divx. Now I just want them all as divx but I don't have the patience, hard drive or discs to convert them all. What is sad is that most of them started out as divx and I took the trouble to convert them to dvd, edit them and create menus then burn them. Now I want to do it all again but take them back....ah, hell.

Let's get Swanky!

Hello all!

This is just a little blog discussing the things of this world that I find to be swanky or some variation of swank such as swankyfied or swankalicious.

I might bore you with a few odds and ends from my life at times so try to muddle thru.

S.M.
